Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday's romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri was released in cinema halls on Thursday, December 25, 2025. However, soon after its release, the makers and actors have been facing heat from netizens and social media users, who have criticized the cold chemistry between the lead pair.
Apart from this, Kartik and Ananya were brutally slammed for their dance moves in the recreated version of Saath Samundar Paar 2.0, with many viewers claiming that the remake ruined the original song. After the controversial dance steps and what users described as "aura farming" hook steps for Saath Samundar Paar, another video from the film has surfaced online.
The latest viral clip shows Kartik grooving to Salman Khan's iconic Saajanji Ghar Aaye. Needless to say, the internet has been disgusted beyond words, with users unhappy about Kartik and Ananya dancing to songs originally picturised on Salman Khan and Kajol.

In the clip, Kartik is seen wearing a black ethnic kurta as he makes a grand entry at a function while dancing to the song, before being joined by Ananya.
Several comments accused the film of unnecessarily remixing or reusing iconic songs, calling the trend tiring and unoriginal. Kartik's rendition of Salman Khan's original number left fans unimpressed, with many feeling that he fell short of recreating Salman's charm.
A user wrote, "Name: Kartik Aaryan. Work: Ruining every OG beautiful Bollywood songs and movies.."
The next one wrote, "#KartikAaryan please stop ruining our iconic songs and dance steps. You can't even match 1 Percent of #SalmanKhan's Swag and Persona.."
