Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro launched at Rs. 17.44 lakh; here is all you need to know

Italian sports motorcycle brand Ducati has just expanded its adventure tourer motorcycle line-up in India with the addition of Multistrada 1200 Enduro. The Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro has been priced at Rs. 17.44 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Ducati India already retails the Multistrada 1200 and 1200 S in India. The latest addition — the 1200 Enduro — is a hardcore version designed to suit off-road rides. The 1200 Enduro is powered by 1,198cc Testastretta V-twin engine that develops 158bhp at 9,500rpm and 136Nm of torque at 7,500rpm mated to six-speed transmission.

"In 2016, with the Multistrada 1200 & 1200 S we are already the leaders in the large sports touring motorcycle category. We felt this was the right time for us to introduce the Multistrada 1200 Enduro for adventure motorcycling enthusiasts," Ravi Avalur, the Managing Director of Ducati India, said. "The motorcycle is a perfect combination of Enduro riding style, limitless comfort and is equipped with cutting edge Ducati technology. The bike is perfect for our riding conditions and we're sure that it will be as successful." 

The Multistrada 1200 Enduro comes equipped with a full-TFT display that features the four riding modes — Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro. The feature list of this 1200 Enduro includes cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, ride by wire system, Ducati wheelie control and the semi-active Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) Evolution. 

The full LED lights, Ducati Cornering Lights, illuminate the road on corner entry. The touring motorcycle gets cruise control, hands-free ignition and back-lit handlebar switches. The motorcycle also features a Vehicle Hold Control system and advanced electronics that detect jumps and automatically adjust the suspension to provide softer landing.
