Pushkar in Rajasthan is set to get its own Hanuman galli like shown in Star Plus' show "Diya Aur Baati Hum", which revolves around the love story of IPS officer Sandhya (Deepika Singh) and Suraj (Anas Rashid). The show has been gaining immense popularity.

In the show, the Rathi family, including Sooraj, Sandhya, Bhabho (Neelu Vaghela) and Arun Rathi (Ashok Lokhande), live in Hanumangalli in Pushkar (Rajasthan).

While their residence address is a scripted one, according to reports, the show's viewership and popularity is such that tourists visiting Pushkar would often search for Hanuman galli and Suraj's sweet shop.

Inspired by the show, the Municipal Corporation and Government of Rajasthan have decided to rename a lane in Pushkar as Hanuman galli. The entire cast of "Diya Aur Baati Hum" will attend the event.

"Apparently, the show has great viewership and tourists who visited Pushkar often used to go searching for Hanuman Galli and ask for Sooraj and his jalebi shop. Since, this has led to increase in tourists, I guess the ministry must have come up with this plan. We are excited and the whole team will be going for this event," Neelu Vaghela told The Times of India.

Meanwhile, on the show, the mystery surrounding the murder of Sandhya's (Deepika Singh) brother-in-law Mohit, is keeping its viewers hooked to their TV sets.

After Lokesh confessed he killed Mohit, Emily appeared in front of Sandhya claiming to be the murderer.

While Sandya seemed perplexed by both Lokesh and Emily's confessions, Suraj will reveal in the upcoming episodes that he had killed his brother Mohit.
