Director Krish aka Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi tied the knot with Ramya Velaga at a grand wedding ceremony, which was attended by Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, SS Rajamouli and a host of other Telugu celebs.
Krish's mother had apparently been asking him to get married for a long time, but the director had put it on the back burner to focus on his career. After the success of "Kanche," he gave his consent for marriage and his mother found a suitable girl through her relatives. He and Ramya, who is a doctor by profession, met each other and spoke about their likes and dislikes. When they liked each other, they informed their respective families about taking their relationship to the next level.
The families of Krish and Ramya met each and decided on the other proceedings as per the traditions of their families. The couple got engaged at a grand ceremony on June 25. The director, who is busy with Balakrishna's "Gautamiputra Satakarni," took a brief break from its shooting to focus on the arrangements of his wedding and inviting friends, relatives and colleagues from the Telugu film industry.

It was a starry and glitzy event and megastar Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, SS Rajamouli, Venkatesh, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Prabhas, Karthi, Gopichand, Rakul Preet Singh, Lakshmi Manchu, Rashi Khanna, K Raghavendra Rao, Narayana Murthy and many others from southern industry attended their wedding and blessed the newly-married couple.
Director Krish has planned to go on a brief honeymoon with Ramya, before he returns to the sets of Balakrishna's 100th movie "Gautamiputra Satakarni." "We will be going on a honeymoon. I am taking just a ten-day break before resuming the shooting of 'Gautamiputra Satakarni'," Krish had said in an earlier interview with India Today.
