Diljit Dosanjh is known for the purity and simplicity in his music and his conversations. Not the one to stir up controversies, Diljit recently made a statement during his recent tour that has left his fans and followers worried. The singer-and-actor said that last December he tried to "get out of" his body. He also added that he has no fear of death.
Diljit Dosanjh's confession
Diljit was performing at the Aura World Tour at Calgary's Scotiabank Saddledome on April 30, where he made the shocking comments. "I have already left this world. I don't have any fear of death. Last December, I was trying to get out of this body. But now I still have to do a few more things before I leave this body. There is nothing to be afraid of," he said.
Dosanjh further went on to add, "Punjab has always been spoken about, and it will continue to be spoken about even without me. I have already left this world; this is the truth. I am standing on this stage, and this is my God."
However, not in a mood to stop right there, the 'Udta Punjab' actor further said that he has no fear of death or animosity towards anyone. He added that he is trying to bring into his life love, respect and forgiveness as much as possible. "Those who are still with me, this is the name of Punjab. I am Punjab. What do you say?" he concluded.
Social media worried

"We don't know what happened but hope he's coping mentally and has enough supports in place," a reddit user commented.
