Director-producer Karan Johar's birthday bash was held on 25 May in Mumbai, but the party is still creating some news over his celebrity guests.

On Friday, Mid-Day reported that the "Student of the Year" actors Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra apparently had an argument at the party.

Dhawan and Malhotra met at Johar's party, where they had a heated debate. The argument started with a joke, but soon the matter went out of control and the actors had a fight.

The matter heated up so much that the guests at the party had to interfere and sort things out.

"Sidharth took offence to Varun's comment and the two had a fight. Some people at the party then had to interfere and sort things out. Soon after, Varun left the party," a source told Mid-Day.

However, when Malhotra was asked about the tiff he denied the story saying nothing happened between them.

"Nothing really happened between Varun and me. I don't know where all these rumours come from," the "Ek Villain" actor told Mid-Day.

Johar threw a lavish birthday party, which was attended by many Bollywood biggies. The event remained in news for several reasons days after the party was held.

Bobby Deol Being Slapped

There were reports that the security guards at KJo's birthday bash reportedly slapped the "Yamla Pagla Deewana" actor. Apparently, Deol had a tiff with the guards when he ordered him to get more drinks. The argument went out of control, following which the guard slapped the actor, according to The Times of India.

But later, the director-producer took to Twitter to slam the rumours. "Ridiculously Untrue Reportage about Bobby Deol at my party....he had a fun time as did all of us and NONE of what is written is true," he tweeted.

Shah Rukh Khan's Antics

SRK surprised everyone when he made a quick visit to the birthday bash of his best friend Johar. The "Don" actor was in a very good mood as he joked with his industry friends at the party.

Khan was caught joking with actress Vidya Balan and her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur and Hrithik Roshan during the party.

When he met the celebrity couple Balan and Kapur, he jokingly said "I don't want to meet a taller and better looking SRK," reported Masala magazine.

In another instance, Roshan saw SRK smoking so he came up to the actor to ask for a cigarette. "Yeh acting wali cigarette hai. After smoking this you will learn how to do this," SRK jokingly said to Roshan and did his signature romantic open arm step, reported Mumbai Mirror.
