Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar has beaten the record of Pushpa 2 to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. The movie has created a history at the domestic box office.
After making a decent collection in its fifth weekend, Dhurandhar witnessed a 50 percent drop in its collection on its fifth Monday. The movie surprisingly showed some amount of growth on Tuesday. The film continued to run houseful in some centers in the evening shows.
Dhurandhar has collected Rs 5.70 crore net at the Indian box office on its fifth Tuesday, taking its 33-day total to Rs 831.40 crore net. Taran Adarsh posted on his X account, "#Dhurandhar [Week 5] Fri 9.70 cr, Sat 12.60 cr, Sun 13.50 cr, Mon 5.40 cr, Tue 5.70 cr. Total: ₹ 831.40 cr. #India biz | Official Nett BOC | #Boxoffice."
Dhurandhar has beaten Pushpa 2. Taran Adarsh wrote, "'DHURANDHAR': THE NEW EMPEROR HAS ARRIVED – CROSSES 'PUSHPA 2'... This is THE biggest moment in the HISTORY of #Hindi film business. Till not long ago, surpassing the *lifetime business* of #Pushpa2 #Hindi – the highest-grossing film in the #Hindi market—seemed unthinkable."

The trade analyst added, "But records are meant to be challenged... and shattered – and #Dhurandhar has done exactly that. #Dhurandhar has finally overtaken the *lifetime business* of #Pushpa2 #Hindi, emerging as the highest-grossing #Hindi film of all time on its fifth Tuesday [Day 33]. The throne has a new Emperor – #Dhurandhar."
However, its dream run will be ended by Sankrathi releases from its six week. Prabhas' The Raja Saab and Vijay's Jana Nayagan are scheduled for worldwide release on January 9. These two films featuring southern superstars are dubbed and released in Hindi. They are surely going vacate Dhurandar from a large number of cinema halls, thereby stalling its collection.
However, Dhurandhar has collected a total of Rs 1300 crore gross at the worldwide box office in 33 days. The movie has fetched huge amount of profit share to its producers, exhibitors and distributors. Besides, the film has set several new collection records at the global box office.
