"Hindu bahut hi darpok kom hai…": Ranveer Singh in revenge beast mode as Hamza, 'Ab Pakistan ka mustakbil Hindustan tey karega' in Dhurandhar 2 trailerInstagram

And the wait is over! Two weeks before its theatrical release, the makers of Dhurandhar have dropped the epic, intense trailer, and you are still not ready for the mind-blowing scenes and dialogues that will surely give you goosebumps. If part one of Dhurandhar was a bloodbath, the second part is no less.

Ranveer Singh has raised the intensity as he gears up for the next chapter of Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar. The actor has switched on his beast mode, and his high-octane revenge arc in the sequel is unmissable.

The trailer follows undercover agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi (played by Ranveer), who transforms into Hamza while gradually uncovering his dark side. The three-and-a-half-minute trailer opens with the opening scene from the first film, featuring the IC-814 hijacking, and a man says, "Hindu bahut hi darpok kom hai... pados mein rehte hai, gude bhar ka zor laga lo."( Hindus are always scared..) It then moves on to show how Hamza (Ranveer) killed Akshaye Khanna's character, Rahman Dakait, in the first part.

With the title card "Introducing Jaskirat Singh Rangi" revealing the true identity of Ranveer's character, the trailer traces his transformation from Jaskirat to Hamza. It also offers glimpses of Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun, who appears in a fierce avatar holding a gun. Ranveer also delivers a powerful dialogue: "Ab Pakistan ka mustakbil, Hindustan tey karega."(The Fate of Pakistan will be decided by India)

"Honsla. Eendhan. Badla." hints at the epic revenge driving the sequel forward.

Offering a glimpse into the upcoming instalment on Instagram, Ranveer shared the trailer and hinted that the narrative will push his character Hamza into uncharted territory as it is "personal," promising a gripping blend of action, emotion, and vengeance that raises the stakes from the first film.

He wrote on Instagram, "Told you it was personal... Trailer Out Now. Book Now for Paid Previews on 18th March only. #DhurandharTheRevenge releases worldwide on 19 March, on Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid. Hindi | Telugu | Tamil | Kannada | Malayalam."

Netizens lauded the Dhurandhar 2 trailer

The second instalment was shot simultaneously with the first.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, a sequel to Dhurandhar and the second and final instalment of the duology, will see the original cast—Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, Gaurav Gera, Manav Gohil, and several supporting actors from the first part—reprising their roles.

No Dhurandhar 2 vs Toxic clash

Earlier, Dhurandhar 2 was set to clash with Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. However, the makers later announced that the film will now arrive in cinemas on June 4 instead of March 19.

The team cited the ongoing Middle East conflict as the reason, stating that the situation makes it difficult for the film to reach a wider global audience. With Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups now rescheduled, Dhurandhar 2 will be the sole major release on that date. This will give the film a larger opportunity to mint big money at the box office, just like its first part, which was released in December 2025.

Talking about Dhurandhar, the film draws inspiration from real-life events involving geopolitical tensions and covert operations conducted by India's RAW, particularly those associated with Operation Lyari, the 2008 Mumbai attacks, and crackdowns on gangs and criminal syndicates.
