Dhruva, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada and Ungarala Rambabu are among the most-awaited Telugu movies of 2016 and audience are eagerly waiting to know about their release dates.

Dhruva starring Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh is a remake of Thani Oruvan. The huge success of the Tamil film has created a lot of hype for its Telugu remake, which is directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Allu Aravind. Its first look posters and teaser, which were released online recently, have got very good response from the audience.

Hip Hop Tamizha, who scored music for the original film Thani Oruvan, has been roped in to compose tunes for Dhruva. The makers are yet to announce the dates of its audio launch and theatrical release. But reports suggest that the movie is set to be released in theatres around the world on 2 December.

Directed by Vi Anand, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada is a romantic thriller movie, featuring Nikhil Siddharth, Nandita Swetha and Hebah Patel in the lead roles. The makers have planned to launch its audio in the last week of October or in the first week of November. They have reportedly locked 11 November as the release date of the movie.

Ungarala Rambabu, which is laced with humour and sensible social message, is directed by Kranthi Madhav and produced by Paruchuri Kireeti. The film featuring comedy actor Sunil and Malayali actress Miya George in the leads, has completed 70 percent of its shooting. The makers have planned to release the movie in theatres on 23 December.

Dhruva is a solo Telugu movie to release on 2 December and it does not have any big threat from Bollywood industry. Ekkadiki Potavu Chinnavada would lock the horns with Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bhayam and John Abraham's Rock On 2 on 11 November. Ungarala Rambabu is set to clash with Nani's Nenu Local and Aamir Khan's Dangal, which are also set to hit the screens on 23 December.
