"Dhoom 3" has set the box office on fire with its two days' earnings. After witnessing a rocking first day, the film had a super-strong Saturday.

The action thriller starring Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles has raked in ₹33.36 crore inclusive of Tamil, Telugu and Hindi version.

"Dhoom 3- All Languages Saturday Hindi ₹31.25 Cr Tamil & Telugu ₹2.11 Cr Total ₹33.36 crore," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The film witnessed less than normal drop at some circuits, but at some places the ticket sales were reportedly high. The two day total of the film stands at ₹69.58 crore and it requires ₹30.42 crore more to touch the ₹100 crore mark.

Being a holiday, the business of the film is expected to witness a huge jump. The two day box office trend suggests that the film will surpass the century club in just opening weekend.

With Christmas holidays coming this week, the film is expected to take its first week total to new level.

The increased ticket price, highest number of screens (4500) and the marketing strategy seem to have worked in favour of the film. Despite several negative reviews from critics, the collection remained rock-steady.

Both single screens and multiplexes are witnessing tremendous response across India. The film has sustained to the hype it created before the release.

Apart from the lead pair, the Yash Raj production also features Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Jackie Shroff in main roles.
