Shivaji is a man who firmly believes in caste traditions. When he dies, his own community refuses him space in their burial ground. The incident shakes the entire village. Through the actions of his son Vishnu, village sarpanch Sitharam, and Sujatha, the film blends grief with dark humor to reveal caste conflicts, human contradictions, and how one death slowly brings change to rural life.
Dhandoraa has been written and directed by Muralikanth Devasoth. Sivaji, Bindhu Madhavi, Navadeep, Nandu Vijay Krishna and Shree Nandu have played the lead role in the movie, which has not only got critical success, but has also become commercially a big hit at the box office.
