Just like in life, those in the movie business always keep talking about hits and misses. Often, a movie star has to pass on projects, even if they would like to take them on. In between hits and misses, life goes on, and then there are projects that could either make you or break you. Chitrangada Singh is one of the most stunning actresses in Bollywood who has made some good choices in terms of the films that she has worked in. However, recently, she revealed that there have been films that she has had to let go of, even though later those films became major hits.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Chitrangada spoke of the film offers that she has had to say no to because of certain circumstances. She also blatantly agreed that there have been several occasions where she has paid heed to what others are saying and then gone on to make bad choices in terms of her work.

The actress said, "I said no to Gangs of Wasseypur. Anurag (Kashyap) had come to me for the role that Richa Chadda eventually did," and continued that she not only turned down Gangs of Wasseypur but also Tanu Weds Manu, which was later signed by Kangana Ranaut.

Chitrangada remembered, "Anand Rai had come to me for the part that Kangana did, and I said no. I think at that time I listened to too many people and made some bad choices."

Then she further opened up about a certain project, which she did not say no to but eventually missed out on. It was the big SRK project.

Chitrangada said, "The one I didn't say no to but still missed was Chalte Chalte with Shah Rukh Khan. He told me this himself when we were shooting an ad together. He said that they were looking for my number. I had left work for seven or eight years. That's when it really hits you."

In terms of work, the actress will be seen on the big screen opposite Salman Khan in the upcoming war drama 'Battle of Galwan.'
