Megastar Chiranjeevi would reportedly start shooting for his 150th movie on June 23. The much-anticipated landmark film, which is tentatively titled "Kathilantodu," will go on the floors in Hyderabad.

The latest report suggests that the team of "Kathilantodu" has planned to begin its filming on Thursday and Megastar Chiranjeevi will join the unit of his 150th film from the first day. The shooting will take place on a flyover in the city on June 24, according to a report. The makers have not revealed the exact details of the flyover to avoid public glare; but as per the speculations, it will be Hitech City flyover.

Chiranjeevi is set to make his comeback to the big screen after a long time and there are lots of expectations about his 150th movie, which is going to be an official remake of Vijay's blockbuster film "Kaththi." Chiru will be seen playing dual roles, like a thief and an activist fighting for farmers. The film was launched at a low-key ceremony held at the office of Ram Charan in the last week of April.

VV Vinayak has been roped in to direct Chiranjeevi in his 150th film, which marks actor Ram Charan's debut as a producer. Cherry will bankroll this project under the banner of Konidela Productions in association with Lyca Productions. Ram Charan recently left for Kashmir for the shooting of his next movie "Dhruva." However, it is not clear whether he will be present on the sets of "Kathilantodu" on the first day.

Vennela Kishore will play a side kick to Chiranjeevi, while Catherine Tresa essays a significant role. It is also rumoured that Ram Charan will also be making a guest appearance in the film. Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to compose music for its songs and background score. The makers are yet to make an announcement about the actress who would play female lead opposite the megastar.
