Megastar Chiranjeevi has revealed he will sport a handlebar moustache in his much-talked-about 150th movie, which is being directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Ram Charan Teja.

Chiranjeevi attended a wedding reception party in Hyderabad on Monday night. He donned a white striped shirt and blue denims, but what grabbed eyeballs at the event was his moustache. Photos featuring this look of Chiru were circulated fast on social media and created a lot of buzz. Many wondered whether the Megastar had grown the handlebar moustache for the "Kaththi" remake.

In a statement to a daily, Chiranjeevi admitted he would be seen with a handlebar moustache and is growing it as a part of its preparation. "I have been preparing to get my look right for the 'Kaththi' remake for the past couple of months. This moustache is part of my new look," The Times of India quoted the actor as saying.

It was rumoured that Chiranjeevi would start shooting for his 150th film on 27 March, which is the birthday of his son Ram Charan, who is turning producer with the movie. But the actor says the filming will start by the end of February. "The pre-production work of the film is in its final stages. If everything goes as per plan, we will start shooting from the end of next month," he added.

Chiranjeevi will be seen in dual roles in the remake of "Kaththi", starred Tamil Superstar Vijay. The actor is putting in a lot of effort to get into the skin of the characters. Director VV Vinayak is said to have made certain changes in the script to suit his image and the taste of local audiences. Actress Nayanatara is likely to be roped in to play the heroine in the film.
