Megastar Chiranjeevi has reportedly been roped in to host the fourth season of "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu" (MEK). He is set to replace actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, who hosted the first three seasons of the show.

According to reports, Nagarjuna is now focusing on his upcoming films and his sons' careers. He was too busy to spare dates for "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 4." Hence, he walked out of the TV show. Now, the makers of the popular quiz show are said to have approached Chiranjeevi, who has agreed to host the show.

Nagarjuna himself has confirmed the news about him being out of "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 4." "I had three wonderful seasons of MEK, and it was a life changing experience for me. As I ended season three, I thought I should take a break because this year, I am very busy with my films and with the production of two of my sons' films," the actor told the Deccan Chronicle.

The actor-turned-host wished all the success to "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 4." Meanwhile, he hoped to sit on the hot seat opposite Chiru. "I am happy that Chiranjeevi is going to host the season four and I know that he will do a fantastic job. I wish him all the best and I also wish to be a guest on his show," Nagarjuna added.

Chiranjeevi is now busy shooting for his 150th film "Khaidi No. 150" and he has planned to wrap it up by the end of October. A source close to the actor says that the megastar will start filming for "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 4" in November. "Chiranjeevi has allocated dates in November for the show that is going to air from December second week onwards," the daily quoted the source as saying.

"Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu" is the Telugu version of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" and last three seasons of this game show have been hit with the audience. The Hindi quiz show has been a flop in all other regional languages, but it is Nagarjuna who made its Telugu version a super success. With Chiranjeevi set to host it, the fourth season of "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu" is expected to be even a bigger hit.

However, it should be recalled that Chiranjeevi appeared as the guest on the first season of Nagarjuna's "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu." The special episode was aired on Maa TV on Aug. 7, 2014.
