The Chinese calendar - called Sheng Xiao - has 12 cycles. Each cycle lasts for one year and represents an animal which includes Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig.
