Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, one of Bollywood's hottest couples, walked the red carpet at the amfAR (American Foundation for AIDS research) fundraising event on Thursday night.
Aishwarya was already creating waves at the 67th Cannes Film Festival for the past three days. And now, Abhishek has joined his wife. The "Dhoom 3" actor reached Cannes on Thursday, to attend the gala dinner.
"No matter how tired you are, seeing the family and holding them in your arms is the greatest cure for any fatigue," the actor tweeted after meeting his family in Cannes.
Abhishek and Aishwarya attended the amfAR gala dinner on Thursday night as the brand ambassadors to support AIDS awareness.
"Tonight to the 21st annual Cinema Against AIDS event with the Mrs. to support @amfAR 's mission to find a cure for HIV. #amfARCannes," Jr. Bachchan stated.
Aishwarya was looking stunning in a shimmery pale pink coloured Armani Privé couture gown with side-parted open hair, red ruby lipstick and earrings, while Abhishek looked dashing in black bandhgala long kurta, designed by Manish Malhotra.
The actor later posted a photo of them with the caption: "I make her look good!! Then again... anybody compared to me will look good!"

Other than the Bollywood couple, Hollywood A-list celebrities also graced the event. Among the celebs who attended the event were Marion Cotillard, Sharon Stone, Heidi Klum, Jane Fonda, John Travolta, Maria Cestone, Dennis Davidson, Christophe Navarre, Justin Bieber, Lana Del Rey, Leonardo DiCaprio and Naomi Campbell.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya and Abhishek will head for a family holiday to London. Abhishek is currently travelling back to Shimla but will finish the shoot for his upcoming film "All is Well" and head back to London, to spend time with family.
Jaya Bachchan is already in London with daughter Shweta Nanda and granddaughter Navya Navelli. Aishwarya and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan will now join them.
"Its been a family that travels .. Jaya is with the daughter and the grand daughter in London, Abhishek shoots for 'All is Well' in Shimla and keeps travelling off to Mumbai Chandigargh and Simla .. he is on his way now to Cannes to be with the festival authorities and Aishwarya and the baby .. to be back after a day to Shimla, and then join up again with the rest of the family in London in a week," senior Bachchan posted on his blog.
"My schedule with Balki underwent a change and so I had to cancel overseas trip, but shall be rescheduling soon and shall keep all informed .. Looks like Harvard, Boston ... but shall converse and note .. its reference shall be made later in the day," he added.
