Apple has reportedly partnered with Citibank, bringing an exciting offer to shoppers on the purchase of an iPhone and an iPad. According to offer documents obtained by Gadgets360, Citibank customers can get up to Rs. 23,000 cashback on purchasing an iPhone and an iPad together.
The offer is available in select offline Apple-authorised stores in India, a move to strengthen its presence in the second largest smartphone market. Also, not all Citibank customers can take advantage of the offer as the discount is given in the form of cashback to the bank's credit card holders.
According to the report, the iPhone-iPad combo offer went live on Friday and will be available till December 31, 2016. Customers can avail the offer to a maximum of four times, and only two of which can be carried out in a month. This means, customers buying an iPhone and an iPad with Rs. 23,000 discount twice this month will be able to replicate the same next month. But they cannot avail the offer four times in December alone.
Since the offer is a combo deal, the iPhone and iPad must be purchased from the same store on the same day, using the same card. The cashback will be credited to the buyer's credit card within 90 days of purchase.
If the customer purchases an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, cashbacks on iPads are as follows:
iPad mini 2: Rs. 17,000 cashback
iPad mini 4: Rs. 17,000 cashback
iPad Pro: Rs. 23,000 cashback
iPad Air 2: Rs. 18,000 cashback
The cashbacks also work in reverse, which means if customers buy an iPad, the corresponding cashback will be applied for iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus purchase.
