In a twist to Salman Khan's case, a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court against the interim bail granted to the actor on Wednesday.
After Additional Sessions Judge D.W. Deshpande convicted Salman in the 2002 hit-and-run case, his lawyers moved to HC to apply for bail.
Lawyer Harish Salve, who is said to be one of the most expensive lawyers in India, argued in HC for Salman's bail plea. He was later given two days interim bail.
However, latest reports suggest that an advocate has filed a petition in SC seeking cancellation of interim bail. The petition alleges that Bombay High Court granted the bail hurriedly.
Meanwhile, Salman's sister Alvira Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma, actor Aamir Khan, politician Raj Thackeray and filmmaker Karan Johar among other celebrities visited Salman's residence Galaxy Apartment in Bandra on Thursday.
