Superstar Mahesh Babu and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu are back in Hyderabad after completing the shooting of "Brahmotsavam" in Haridwar and Udaipur.

On March 15, Mahesh Babu took to his Twitter page to inform his followers that he had wrapped up the North India schedule of "Brahmotsavam." He posted a couple of on-set photos on Twitter and wrote: "After a long schedule in Haridwar n Udaipur, finally back in town... Only to shoot some more :) #Brahmotsavam (sic)."

A couple of days before his tweets, Samantha confirmed that she was back in Hyderabad. The actress tweeted, "Home at last ❤️ "I am not leaving again,and nobody can make me"(says while packing suitcase for next trip) #ihatemyjob and then #ilovemyjob."

"Brahmotsavam" is touted to be a romantic family drama film written and directed by Srikanth Addala and produced by Prasad V Potluri under the banner PVP Cinema. The shooting commenced on May 31, 2015, and the makers planned to wrap it up by December. But the filming was delayed as Mahesh was busy promoting "Srimanthudu"

The regular shooting began on Sept. 16 2015 and the film's unit shot a song in a set erected by Tharani in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The makers of the movie have reportedly spent Rs 3.5 crore on the making of this track, which has been choreographed by Raju Sundaram.

Later, the film unit shot "Brahmotsavam" in Chilkur, Ramoji Film City, Ambattur industrial estate, Hyderabad and Chennai. The team moved to North India March 1 and shot in the beautiful locales of Varanasi, Haridwar, Udaipur and New Delhi in the 14-day schedule. The principal photography is reportedly wrapped up, except for a song and a few patchwork scenes.

Mickey J Meyer is composing music for the songs and background score of "Brahmotsavam," R Rathnavelu handled the cinematography. The makers of the film have planned to kick start its post-production work soon and the film is scheduled to be released in theatres April 29.
