Though Manny Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach might not be with the Filipino for his training as of now, he has been very vocal about the fight of the century between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather on 2 May at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The trainer is presently training Chinese boxer Zou Shiming to fight against IBF flyweight titleholder Amnat Ruenroeng in Macau. Despite the trainer wanting to be with the Filipino for his training, Pacquiao suggested Roach to train Shimming. Pacquiao preponed his visit to the US for training, which was earlier slated to start from 8 March.

But the Filipino has started his training and will be joined by the trainer soon.

Roach has already made some game plans for the fight, which he has not revealed as of now and would not be doing so in the near future as well. His strategy would be put into action by the Filipino.

But he is sure that Pacquiao needs to dictate the fight and would be required to throw more punches.

Roach considers Pacquiao to be a perfect role model for the fight. "Floyd is so disrespectful," Roach said by phone from China, as quoted by USA Today.

"Manny is the perfect  for this fight and Mayweather is not. I told Manny we've got to beat him for the whole world. There's no way we can't win this fight."

In the recent past also, Roach has called the Filipino to be the favourite for the bout.

But things are not going to be too easy for the Filipino, as the American is said to be one of the best boxers in the modern era.

His unbeaten record in his professional career just establishes the fact. He has remained unbeaten in his 47 bouts, 26 of them have come via knock outs.

Both the camps seem to be pretty confident that their fighter will win the bout, so an interesting clash awaits for boxing fans around the world on 2 May.

This was one fight, which the entire boxing fraternity was eager to see since the last few years and their wish has finally come true.

But the worst part is that there are not many seats for the general public, and those seats that are available would also cost huge money.
