Freddie Roach believes Al Haymon's people are calling them up and are offering more money to Pacquiao sparring partnersReuters

Freddie Roach, Manny Pacquiao's trainer has done his homework well for the 2 May bout between Pacquiao and Mayweather. He has also identified sparring partners for Pacquiao, who have similar styles as that of Mayweather to put the Filipino in perfect shape for the fight of the century.

But not everything seems to be going as planned as Roach claims that Mayweather's adviser Al Haymon is paying Pacquiao's sparring partners to stay home.

"I'm hiring sparring partners, Al Haymon's people call them up and offer more money for them not to come," Roach told ABS-CBN News. "I'm not worried about those guys. We got four really good sparring partners for Manny for this fight. Mayweather look-alikes."

So the fight within the two camps already seems to have started, but these are not good signs as far as sportsmanship is concerned.

The Filipino is already at the Wild Card Gym in US for training, but Roach is only expected to train Pacquiao after he returns from Macau, where he is training Chinese Zou Shiming.

The fight between the two was expected to take shape in 2010, but it was not agreed upon then, but Pacquiao's trainer, as it seems, had started to plan for the bout since then itself.

"We started our game plan five years ago but we changed it a little bit. Definitely there will be some adjustments."

Had the fight taken place then it could have been a huge affair, may be even bigger than today, for both the boxers were at their prime. But take nothing away from the 2 May bout as both the boxers are expected to go all out to turn triumphant.

Apart from the mega bucks in the offing, there is a whole lot of pride at stake as well, for Mayweather has not lost a single bout in his professional career and Pacquiao has also been impressive in his bouts.

But Roach is confident that Pacquiao will turn victorious in the fight, which the Filipino has dubbed as 'fight of my life.'

"I'm confident that we'll win the fight and this will be the biggest fight night of all our lives. The guy is undefeated, he's a very good boxer and he's the most talented fighter we'll ever face. He's tricky also... he's intelligent as a fighter. I believe we need to fight the perfect fight."
