According to sources, collection of "Eega" has crossed $1 million mark at the overseas, joining the club of previous Telugu smash-hit films like Pawan Kalyan's "Gabbar Singh", which collected $ 577,090.

Earlier, trade Analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh asserted that collections of "Gabbar Singh" were expected to be higher than what has been said as it only gives the figures from the screens reported.

The same is applicable to "Eega" as well, since the numbers are only from the screens reported.

While giving the third week box office collections of "Eega", Taran noted that the movie garnered over $1 million in US, "which is not a small achievement."

According to Taran, collection of "Billa 2" in the second week at the US box office was $ 130,314 (Rs 72.94 lacs). Whether it will surpass the "Eega" numbers in the coming days remains to be seen. Meanwhile, the movie has collected UK £ 100,506 (Rs 87.34 lacs) and A$ 55,268 (Rs 31.80 lacs) in Australia.

Ajith Kumar's much-awaited "Billa 2", prequel to his 2007 blockbuster "Billa", was released across 2500 theatres, which opened to the packed houses in local markets. The first weekend collection of the film was reported to be Rs 340 million and it continued to rally strong at the box office, racking up Rs 730 million at the end of the second week, reported Haihoi.com.
