"Shaadi Ke Side Effects" has managed to take it first week total to a decent note, while "Gunday" completed its 21 days run in India.

Check out the box office collection of both the films here:

Shaadi Ke Side Effects

The film starring Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar raked in ₹30.83 crore from its first week run at domestic box office. Saket Chowdhary's directorial film performed well at the box office in first week. The opening weekend total helped the film to sum up a decent first week.

In the first weekend, the film managed to fetch in ₹21.26 crore, while during the weekdays, it minted ₹9.57 crore.

"#ShaadiKeSideEffects Fri 5.70 cr, Sat 7.55 cr, Sun 8.01 cr, Mon 2.78 cr, Tue 2.63 cr, Wed 2.19 cr, Thu 1.97 cr. Total: ₹ 30.83 cr nett," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Since there are three new releases this week, the screen count of "Shaadi Ke Side Effects" will reduce drastically from all the circuits in India.

The film will have tough competition to survive at the box office in its second week run due to the new releases. The current box office income suggests that the film will take its lifetime total to around ₹40 crore.

Gunday

Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan starrer "Gunday" has completed three weeks at the box office. The three weeks total of the film is ₹78.42 crore which is pretty decent enough.

This action thriller survived in the third week and raked in around ₹2.30 crore.

"#Gunday 3rd Week: ₹ 2.30 cr. Grand total: ₹ 78.42 cr nett. India biz only," Adarsh tweeted.

The three weeks total is decent, but the film would not be able to cross the ₹100 crore mark in India. With three new films releasing this week, the box office run of "Gunday" might come to an end.
