"Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania", "Lai Bhaari" and "Hate Story 2" all had a steady week but Salman Khan's "Kick" is all set to give them some tough competition at the box office.

"Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhani" and "Lai Bhaari" had a decent second week run in India. Both films dominated the collection centers in their respective sectors.

"Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" has so far accumulated ₹72.17 crore from the Indian markets. The romantic comedy, which features Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, had a rocking first week but only a decent second week due to new releases.

The film, which will now enter its third week, will see a huge drop in collections after the release of "Kick". "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" will lose a large amount of screens to "Kick", which will affect its box office earnings. Nevertheless, the film has put on a decent show by earning ₹72 crore in two weeks.

Meanwhile, Marathi film "Lai Bhaari" has reached the silver jubilee mark. Despite being a regional film, it has performed extremely well at the Maharashtra box office, breaking all previous records.

Despite finishing its second week, the film maintains a hold at both single screens and multiplexes in Maharashtra. The action romantic film, which marks the debut of Riteish Deshmukh in Marathi, will give a tough competition to "Kick" in Maharashtra.

"Hate Story 2", on the other hand, surprisingly had a good first week. The film, which stars newcomers, has taken its six-day total to ₹23.56 crore. "Hate Story 2" received negative to mediocre response from critics but it did not affect the film's collections at the box office.
