Hollywood movie "Independence Day Resurgence" (IDR) has made a better collection than the Bollywood movies "Raman Raghav 2.0," "Udta Punjab" and "Te3n," and "Finding Dory" at the Indian box office in its first weekend.

The latest release, "Raman Raghav 2.0" hit the screens amidst huge hype and promotion. The Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer was expected to start with a bang and top the domestic business chart. But the film opened to an average response and could not show big growth. The movie has collected approximately Rs. 3.98 crore. Taran Adarsh tweeted, "Raman Raghav 2.0 Fri 1.10 cr, Sat 1.40 cr, Sun 1.48 cr. Total: ₹ 3.98 cr. India biz. #RamanRaghav2."

Controversial movie "Udta Punjab" had done superb business in its opening week and was expected to continue its dream run in the domestic market in the second week. However, it witnessed a steep decline in its numbers on its second Friday and showed decent growth on the next day. Its collection in the second weekend is bigger than the opening weekend business of "Raman Raghav 2.0."

In its second weekend, "Udta Punjab" has collected approximately Rs. 5.85 crore nett at the Indian box office, taking its 10-day domestic total collection to Rs. 54.35 crore net. The Hollywood movie collected Rs. 16.90 crore net at the Indian box office in its opening weekend. Taran Adarsh tweeted, "Hollywood dominates yet again... #IndependenceDayResurgence Fri 4.70 cr, Sat 5.80 cr, Sun 6.40 cr. Total: ₹ 16.90 cr nett. India biz."

The one-week old Hollywood movie, "Finding Dory" saw a steep decline and collected Rs. 2.01 crore at the Indian box office in its second weekend. Its 10-day Indian total stands at Rs. 9.29 crore net. Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#FindingDory [Week 2] Fri 33 lacs, Sat 79 lacs, Sun 89 lacs. Total: ₹ 9.29 cr nett. Gross: ₹ 13.46 cr... Target audience loving the film!"

The two-week old movie, "Te3n" hit rock-bottom in its third week. The Amitabh Bachchan-starrer collected approximately Rs. 27 lakh net at the Indian box office in its third weekend and its 17-day domestic total stands at Rs. 18.86 crore. Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#TE3N [Week 3] Fri 6 lacs, Sat 10 lacs, Sun 11 lacs. Total: ₹ 18.86 cr. India biz.."
