With its two week box office income, "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" has managed to surpass "Gunday" lifetime total. The romantic comedy film, which features Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, has raked in ₹73.57 crore from Indian markets.

With ₹73 crore in its pocket, the film has reached superhit status at the box office. Also, it has become the fifth highest grosser film of 2014. The first four highest earners are Salman Khan's "Jai Ho", Akshay Kumar's "Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty", Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh's "Ek Villain" and Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor's "2 States".

The film has become the fifth highest earner, but it won't be able to cross the ₹100 crore mark at the box office. Salman Khan's "Kick" released on Friday, due to which the number of shows of "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" in theatres has declined drastically. The business of the film will be affected with "Kick" release.

Marathi film "Lai Bhaari" starring Deshmukh had a fantastic two weeks at collection centes. The film has minted 26.43 crore in total from two weeks run.

"#LaiBhaari [Wk 2] Fri 1.05 cr, Sat 1.90 cr, Sun 2.70 cr, Mon 1.03 cr, Tue 95 lacs, Wed 85 lacs, Thu 85 lacs. Grand total: ₹ 26.43 cr. SUPERB," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Last week's release, "Hate Story 2" has put up decent figures after week one. Despite getting mixed reviews, the erotic thriller managed to rake in ₹25 crore in seven days. Keeping in mind that the film features newcomers and was not promoted on a higher level, the film had a decent week one run. Another release "Amit Sahni Ki List" starring Vir Das had a disastrous run at the domestic box office. Check out the week one total of "Hate Story 2" and romantic comedy "Amit Sahni Ki List" below:
