Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh starrer "Ek Villain" has become the fourth film of the year to touch the ₹100 crore mark.

The film has reached the ₹100 crore milestones by the end of second week. By the end of week two, the film also starring Shraddha Kapoor in the female lead role has raked in ₹101.32 crore.

"Ek Villain" is the fourth ₹100 crore grosser after Salman Khan's "Jai Ho", Akshay Kumar's "Holiday-A Soldier Is Never Off Duty" and Arjun Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer "2 States".

The action thriller directed by Mohit Suri is all set to beat "2 States" lifetime domestic total mark in India. "2 States" has managed to take its overall domestic total to ₹102 crore.

Meanwhile, Malhotra and Kapoor have entered the ₹100 crore list for the first time, while Deshmukh has made hat-trick with "Ek Villain". Previously, Deshmukh's "Housefull 2" and adult comedy film "Grand Masti" had crossed the ₹100 crore mark and now, "Ek Villain" too has entered the club.

"Ek Villain" will continue its run in its third week, but the film will have a stiff competition from Varun Dhawan and Bhatt starrer "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" which released on 11 July.

In the coming two weeks, the film will earn decent amount at the domestic box office. But it remains to be seen whether the film will beat "Holiday" and "Jai Ho" total to take the top grosser spot.

Bobby Jasoos

Vidya Balan starrer "Bobby Jasoos" has finished its week one theatrical run by accumulating ₹10.85 crore.

The film, which tells the story of a female detective who lives in Hyderabad, was released in limited screens worldwide.

The first week figure of the film is in the range of ₹10 crore due to limited screen count. Also, the strong hold of "Ek Villain" at single screens and multiplexes has affected the first week collection of Balan starrer.

In its second week, the film will be badly hit by new release. "Bobby Jasoos" is expected to take its overall total to ₹15 crore.
