Bollywood film "Dedh Ishqiya" is dominating over "Yaariyan" at the domestic box office, while "Dhoom 3" is still running in theatres.

Dedh Ishqiya

The comedy thriller, a sequel to "Ishqiya", is dominating collection centres in its second week. The film, which had a slow run in its first week, is overtaking the business of "Yaariyan" in the second week.

Due to limited shows across the country, the collections have dropped but the film is faring well. Till the second Friday the total collections of the comedy thriller stand at ₹20.64 crore.

The film, directed by Abhishek Choubey, is expected to continue its successful streak at collection centres until the release of Salman Khan's "Jai Ho".

The comedy thriller features Madhuri Dixit Nene, Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi, Huma Qureshi and Vijay Raaz in main roles.

Yaariyan

The business of the film, which revolves on college life and romance, has declined drastically in its second week. Although starring newcomers, the film had a decent first week. But it failed to maintain the same momentum in its second week.

The negative reviews also did not affect the business of the film in the first week and the film went on to earn ₹31.50 crore from its seven-day run.

The film marks the debut of Divya Khosla as director. The film features Himanshu Kohli, Dev Sharma, Serah Singh, Rakul Preet Singh and Nicole Faria in important roles.

Dhoom 3

Aamir Khan starrer "Dhoom 3" is even now in its fifth week in theatres, but its screen count has gone down.

In Maharashtra particularly, Marathi film "Timepass" has affected the business of "Dhoom 3".

The action thriller should rest with a total of around ₹285 crore nett in India.
