Ranbir Kapoor-starrer "Barfi" released on Sept 14 is still going strong in its second week at both Indian as well as overseas box office.

"Barfi" is doing exceptionally well in the overseas box office with USA alone collecting $ 1,977,528 approximately (Rs 10.57 cr) on Monday in just 10 days the movie has crossed the Rs 100 crore worldwide.

Meanwhile, Madhur Bhandarkar's directorial movie "Heroine" starring Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hodda in the lead roles opened to mixed reviews at the domestic box office.

Although the movie is not making much business in India, it fared reasonably well in the international markets. The film's collection in the international arena is much higher than Bhandarkar's previous film "Fashion" starring Priyanka Chopra.

The movie in its opening weekend collected approximately $ 1.45 million (Rs 7.75 cr) at overseas BO with UAE alone collecting $ 500,000 [Rs 2.67 cr].

The opening weekend business of "Heroine" is ahead of Milan Luthria's "The Dirty Picture".

On the domestic box office front "Heroine" had seen a considerable 50 per cent fall in its business on the first Monday compared to Friday's total. The movie collected Rs 375,lakhs taking the overall total to Rs 2.875 lakhs.
