Mardaani 3 has failed to beat the record of Mardaani 2. The trade expert tweeted, "Mardaani3 closes Week 1 on a decent note, registering higher numbers than #Mardaani [first part], but slightly lower than #Mardaani2. Week 1 biz... #Mardaani: ₹ 22.97 cr #Mardaani2: ₹ 28.05 cr #Mardaani3: ₹ 26.55 cr."

The movie is heading to become a flop. Sumit Kadel wrote, "#Mardaani3 is a FLOP. The film's first-week business has closed at around ₹25 crore nett, which is lower than #Mardaani2, released six years ago. Lifetime collections is headed towards the ₹37-40 crore mark, with a distributor share of approximately ₹20–22 crore. The film will fail to reach the breakeven point and is expected to fall short by ₹15–20 crore.
