After a long wait, 'Border 2' is finally here. The second instalment of the hit franchise seems to have won over the audience once again. From Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan to Ahan Shetty; the entire star cast is receiving loud applause for their performances. Amid all this, the 'Border' frenzy seems to have reached Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan too.

Rashid took to social media to share a reel of himself eating corn on the roadside as 'Birder 2' song played in the background. "Border 2 toh mein zaroor dekhunga... but let's see what happens if I post this," he wrote. Khan had shared the video from UAE as he is currently there for the Afghanistan vs West Indies 2026 series.

It didn't come as a surprise that the reel soon gained momentum. "Haa bhai," wrote Varun Dhawan. Ahan Shetty also commented on the reel and wrote, "Lots of love bhai." Suniel Shetty also couldn't stop himself and wrote, "Ye hui na baat." Not just Rashid Khan, KL Rahul also promoted the film on social media with a cheeky banter.

As per a report in Sacnilk, Border 2 had made Rs 17 crore in advance booking. And the total collections with same day bookings came down to Rs 30 crore nett in India. The extended weekend is expected to give the film another push at the box office.

Varun Dhawan, who was mocked for his smile in the film, has been a complete surprise package for the audience. The 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' actor is receiving a lot of love and praise on social media for his power packed performance in the film. Karan Johar came to his aide and slammed trolls for mocking his acting capabilities.
