Actress Anjali Ameer has been admitted in a hospital following reports of a urinary tract infection. This has come as a shock to the contestants of the Malayalam Bigg Boss show.

In the initial moments of the August 07 episode, Bigg Boss gave the contestants the first luxury task of the week. The primary task of the contestants was to spot points from a 'Chakravyuha' (puzzle). Bigg Boss gave certain clues to the contestants, and the housemates had to follow them to find the treasure. However, Bigg Boss had secretly appointed Basheer Bashi to derail the journey of the contestants. If Basheer Bashi succeeds in his efforts, he would be automatically appointed as the captain of the house next week.
In the activity room, the program organizers had arranged boxes of paint. One of the paint boxes had a treasure. It was Anjali Ameer who initially attempted to unlock the treasure. However, she failed, followed by the unsuccessful attempt of Sabumon Abdusamad.
Sabumon conveyed his doubts to Ranjini Haridas stating that Basheer Bashi might be the traitor who is trying to derail the attempts of the contestants. Soon, Bigg Boss called Basheer Bashi to the confession room and informed him that he will fail in his attempts if the housemates succeed in gaining points above 250. In the meantime, Anoop Chandran and Shiyas successfully completed the task and racked up 300 luxury points.
After looking the camera, Basheer Bashi informed Bigg Boss that game organizers have cheated him. Basheer alleged that he had intentionally retracted himself from taking the point box. "Now, we don't have points and I don't have captaincy," said Basheer.
In the meantime, Anjali Ameer asked Shiyas whether he is in love with her. Shiyas cleverly escaped from the scene and informed Anjali that he considers her as his sister. He also admitted sending Whatsapp messages to Anjali some months back.
Pearle who was in charge of the kitchen prepared egg biriyani for everyone. Srinish told everyone that a kiss should be given in the hands of the person who prepared this delicious dish, and soon everybody started teasing Srinis
After some time, a storytelling task was given to the contestants, and Ranjini Haridas won this title. A few moments later, Anjali Ameer informed Sabumon Abdusamad that she is suffering from a urinary infection.
Soon, Bigg Boss announced everyone that Anjali Ameer has been admitted to the hospital due to health ailments.
