HD Kumaraswamy, the former chief minister of Karnataka, has congratulated Gilli Nata on his victory as the winner of Bigg Boss Kannada 12 and Rakshitha Shetty for being the runner up.
HD Kumaraswamy took to his X account to congratulate Gilli Nata. He wrote, "Heartfelt congratulations to Gilli Nataniga (Sri Nataraj), the genuine rural talent from Malavalli in the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency, who has achieved an unprecedented victory in the 12th edition of Kannada's popular reality show Bigg Boss."
Being a son of a farmer from a village, Gilli Nata has garnered 37 lakh votes, which is great number. Talking about his fame, HD Kumaraswamy wrote, "Born as the son of a village farmer, may he who has won the hearts of all Kannadigas attain even greater fame and renown—I extend my best wishes."
Meanwhile, Kumaraswamy also congratulated Rakshita Shetty, who emerged as the runner up of Bigg Boss Kannada 12. The former CM of Karnataka posted, "Likewise, congratulations to Kumari Rakshita Shetty, who emerged as the first runner-up in the final round of the competition. #BiggBoss12Kannada."
Bigg Boss Kannada 12 began with 19 contestant on September 28, 2025. After witnessing a lot of drama for 15 weeks, Kichcha Sudeep hosted reality TV show ended with the grand finale on January 18. Ashwini Gowda, Gilli Nata, Rakshitha Shetty, Dhanush Gowda, 'Mutant' Raghu, Kavya Shaiva were the finalist.
Gilli Nata emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss Kannada 12 and he walked away with winner's trophy, a cheque of Rs 50 lakh and a car. Runner-up Rakshitha Shetty won Rs 25 lakh cash prize. Ashwini Gowda and Kavya Shaiva emerged as second and third runner-ups, respectively.
However, Gilli Nata is the most popular contestant of Bigg Boss Kannada 12 and he has won the show with huge vote share. On his victory, he was flooded with congratulatory messages.
