When "Better Call Saul" returns on AMC with season 2 in 2016, a few "Breaking Bad" characters are expected to join Jimmy McGill aka Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) along with Ignacio Varga (Michael Mando) and Tuco Salamanca (Raymond Cruz).

Executive producers Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould have already revealed that the ambitious criminal, Nacho, will have a major role to play in the upcoming sequel. According to them, Mexican gangster Tuco might also have a vital presence in the show.

The creators even stated that they are open to introduce a few new characters in the spin off series. However, they refused to share the names of possible cast members, according to Cinema Blend.

So here we bring you a list of five "Breaking Bad" characters who could join Odenkirk's character in "Better Call Saul" season 2:

Bryan Cranston: The second season of AMC spin off series will mainly revolve around Jimmy's gradual transformation to Saul Goodman. Chemistry teacher Walter White might have a major role to play in it.

Aaron Paul: The actor has already expressed his interest to reprise his role as drug dealer Jesse Pinkman in the spin off series. So he could be the one guiding the protagonist to the world of criminals.

Lavell Crawford: Jimmy might need his bodyguard Huell Babineaux's help to assist him after he decides to represent White.

Bill Burr: Fans of the AMC spin off series can also expect to see con man Patrick Kuby towards the end of the upcoming squeal.

Giancarlo Esposito: Another "Breaking Bad" character who is likely to join "Better Call Saul" season 2 is the drug distributor Giancarlo Esposito.
