Karnataka Congress MLC Naseer Ahmad's son Fayaz has been arrested on charges of assaulting Bengaluru police personnel on duty early late on Sunday night.
Apart from him, two others have also been arrested for allegedly attacking police force near Hebbal flyover in Bengaluru last night.
The incident
The incident took around 12.30 am on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. The incident took place near Amruthalli police station in Bengaluru.
It has been alleged that Fayaz was in a drunken state when he got into an argument with the police and assaulted a head constable.
"Three persons have been arrested for allegedly attacking police force near Hebbal flyover in Bengaluru last night," said DCP (North East) Bengaluru CK Baba.
