West Indies cricket team swashbuckling batsman Chris Gayle is on a universe of his own. No doubt he refers himself as the 'Universe Boss'. The 38-year-old, playing for Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) side Rangpur Riders, hit an unbelievable 18 sixes in his innings on Tuesday.

Reminder, it's a Twenty 20 format match and also the BPL 2017 final!

Dhaka Dynamites tried but they could not achieve the target of 207 runs to win the final match. Rangpur Riders won the match by 57 runs. It couldn't have been possible if the Gayle storm wouldn't have occurred at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.

Gayle remained undismissed after scoring 146 runs off 69 balls, scoring an out-of-the-world 18 sixes on the way and a total of five boundaries, at a strike rate of 211.59.

Here are the list of world records he broke and created on Tuesday:

18 : Most number of sixes in a T20 innings. Gayle actually broke his own record of 17 sixes he blasted for Indian Premier League (IPL) side Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2013.

11000 : The Caribbean heavyweight batsman crossed over 11k runs in his overall T20 career, which is also a new world record.

100 : Gayle became the first player in the history of the Bangladesh Premier League to hit 100 sixes.

20 : Gayle now has a total of 20 centuries in the Twenty-20 cricket format. Yet another world record!

206 : The highest ever score in a T20 tournament final. Could not have been achieved if there wasn't a Gayle blitz.

201 : Highest-ever partnership in a T20 tournament final. Gayle achieved the feat with Brendon McCullum (51 off 43 balls).
