Three women working at a private firm operating from Raheja Towers on MG Road have alleged that the managing director of their company has sexually assaulted and raped them.

Bhanuprakash, a resident of MICO layout and also the MD of My Family Health Options, a private health consultancy firm has been on the run since the allegations surfaced.

The women alleged that they were sedated and then raped after they were 'forced' to share a hotel room with him during outbound induction training sessions. According to the complaint, Bhanuprakash also videographed the act and threatened to leak the footage if they informed the police or if they refuse to offer him more sexual favours.

"The victims in their complaint have stated that the accused used to hire women employees as telecallers and would force them to go for induction training, which was a mandatory criterion for job promotion. He used to trap them in a hotel room and then exploit them," a police officer investigating the issue told Times of India.

The accused was booked after the city police commissioner received a complaint by the employees. The commissioner forwarded their petition to the deputy commissioner of police (South East) to investigate and submit a detailed investigation report.

DCP (South east) M B Boralingaiah said the case is being investigated and that the suspect will be arrested soon.

Reportedly, multiple complaints against Bhanuprakash had surfaced in the past in Tilaknagar and Hulimavu police stations, including one filed by his wife accusing him of ''indecent and perverted'' behavior.
