Hrithik Roshan's action film "Bang Bang" has grossed over ₹250.75 crore in its first week at the worldwide box office.
"Bang Bang", which is a remake of Hollywood film "Knight and Day", has become the second highest grosser of the year. The film has also replaced Shah Rukh Khan's movie "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" at 10th spot in the worldwide highest grossing Bollywood film list.
"Jab Tak Hai Jaan" released in 2012 had received mixed response at the domestic box office, but fared well in international arena. In its four-week run, the Yash Chopra's directorial minted approximately ₹241 crore gross income from worldwide box office.
The film starring Katrina Kaif in the female lead role minted ₹135 crore nett and ₹193.5 crore gross amount from domestic box office. And from overseas market it fetched in ₹57.25 crore.

Trade experts believe that Hrithik-Katrina's magic has worked for the film. Their sizzling chemistry is one of the reasons why the film is going strong at the box office.
"The business has been phenomenal. The jodi of Hrithik and Katrina has worked its magic again. Bang Bang is holding supremely well. It is a full family-entertainer and a total masala movie. The audience has loved the film and the figures reflect this," Vajir Singh, Editor of Box Office India magazine, told The Times of India.
"Bang bang was expected to bang the box-office charts. And yes it did and how! Being a complete mass entertainer, the film has been liked by one and all," Nikita Wagh, editor of leading trade site KoiMoi.com, told TOI.
