Harshaali Malhotra, the child artist in Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", has been in the spotlight ever since the trailer of the film was released. Salman, Kareena Kapoor Khan and moviegoers are going gaga over the seven-year-old, who plays the role of a mute Pakistani girl.

However, the adorable little girl, who has won several hearts with her innocence, will not be seen promoting the film along with Salman and Kareena.

According to reports, the makers want to keep the excitement around her character alive, and hence she will be away from media promotions of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".

"Harshaali's role is central to the film's story and so, it was decided by both Salman and director Kabir Khan that they will not reveal too many details about her. In fact, she has been asked not to interact with any mediaperson and also will not take part in any promotional events. She will be allowed to speak to the media once the film releases," Mid-Day quoted a source as saying.

Meanwhile, the adorable kid is not new in the entertainment industry. Before "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", she acted in several television shows and commercials with Bollywood's leading ladies, including Bhagyashree, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Yami Gautam among others.

She also acted in popular shows "Jodha Akbar", "Qubool Hai" and "Laut Aao Trisha" among others.

A source from the film revealed that Harshaali loves camera and landed the role of a mute Pakistani girl after her first audition.

"Her portion in the film was shot during school vacations, so her studies have not been affected. She is a bright girl and has been getting a lot of attention. But her parents have signed a contract with the production company to maintain secrecy around her character," adds the unit hand.

"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" directed by Kabir Khan features Salman, Kareena and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles. The film will release on Eid this year.
