BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu has been bowled over by Bahubali: The Conclusion (Baahubali 2). He has lauded director SS Rajamouli and his team for making a Telugu movie on par with international standards.
M Venkaiah Naidu took some time off his busy schedule to watch Bahubali 2 in theatres on April 29. The Union Minister was awestruck by the brilliant work of Bahubali team. Soon after watching the film, he took to Twitter to post a review of the film. He heaped praise on the team, especially SS Rajamouli for his vision and execution.
The Union Minister put Bahubali on same pedestal as legendary Hollywood movies. M Venkaiah Naidu tweeted: "I have just watched #baahubali2 it is a great visual treat giving the experience of legendary hollywood films 'Ben-Hur and Ten Commandments' #baahubali2 has taken Indian Cinema to entirely new level and coming from regional language (Telugu) team is all the more praiseworthy."
Venkaiah Naidu is the Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Urban Development and Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation. On behalf of the I&B ministy, the BJP leader thanked the Baahubali team. He tweeted: "Sh @ssrajamouli has decisively broken the barriers of Indian Cinema. As I&B Minister, I compliment him, the producers and the entire team."
Bahubali 2 starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty has won the hearts of film goers across the globe. The movie has toppled records set by an Indian cinema in all regions around the world. The film is expected to surpass the Rs 1,000 crore mark at the world wide box office soon.
