The 67th annual British Academy of Film and Television Arts also known as BAFTA awards is set to be held on Sunday, 16 February, at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London. 

The award show will be presented by veteran comedian and writer Stephen Fry for the ninth time.

"The awful truth is out - in 2014 I'll be hosting the @BAFTA Film Awards for the 9th year," Fry confirmed on Twitter.

Live Stream Information

The 2014 BAFTA Awards will be telecast live on BBC One and BBC One HD at 9 pm GMT, while a red carpet show of half hour duration will be broadcast on BBC Three. The red carpet hosted by Edith Bowman will start at 8.30 pm GMT.

The highlights of the red carpet and exclusive backstage interviews of the actors will be available to watch on the BAFTA website. The red carpet show will also be available on the BAFTA YouTube Channel.

Winners of the award ceremony will be announced on the official website and the official Twitter and Facebook page. One can follow the official Twitter and Facebook page of BAFTA Awards to get live updates about the award ceremony.

Apart from UK, the award show will be broadcast live in 167 territories including Africa, Asia, North America (including Canada), Latin America, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.

In India, the 2014 BAFTA Awards will be broadcast by Sony PIX.

Tickets

The tickets for one of the biggest award shows are not available directly to the public. The award show is open for BAFTA members only.

Performances

Rapper Tinie Tempah and singer-songwriter Laura Mvula will open the ceremony with a performance of their track "Heroes".

"I'm extremely excited to be opening the 2014 EE British Academy Film Awards performingHeroes with the incredible Laura Mvula. It's a huge honour to be performing there," Tinie Tempah told Hello Magazine.

Presenters

Dame Helen Mirren, Amy Adams, Cate Blanchett, Bradley Cooper, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hanks, Steve Coogan, Steve McQueen, Sandra Bullock, Michael Fassbender, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Matt Damon, Martin Scorsese, Lupita Nyong'o, Leonardo DiCaprio, Emma Thompson, Dame Judi Dench, Christian Bale, Daniel Brühl, Eddie Redmayne, Helen McCrory, Sandra Bullock, and Uma Thurman among others will attend the award ceremony on Sunday night.

Nominations

"Gravity" leads the list with 11 nominations including Best Film, Outstanding Best Film,s Best Director and Leading Actress (Sandra Bullock). "12 Years a Slave" and "American Hustle" picked up 10 nominations each.
