Baahubali 2 movie review: 'Forced comedy, poor VFX, slow narration are big let downs'

Director SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 starring Prabhas, Rana, Anushka and Tamannaah has disappointed some viewers, who say it has forced comedy, poor VFX and slow narration.

Most viewers, who watched Baahubali 2 in premieres on Thursday, April 27, and early morning shows on Friday, April 28, are impressed with SS Rajamouli's direction, performances of lead actors like Prabhas, Rana Dagguabati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia and its top notch production values. They said the movie has all Masala elements and it will make you laugh in first half and cry in the second half.

But some viewers say that a few comedy scenes featuring Subbaraju lack freshness and are boring. They seem to be unnecessary and forcible used to impress one particular section of audience. The second half of the film has been slow, which at time makes the film boring. The VFX works in the climax are of poor quality and could have been better, the viewers said.
