The Hindi version of SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 has achieved a rare feat, which no Bollywood film has done at the Indian box office in the first week. Its collection has cross Rs 350 crore in just seven days.

The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 was released in 3,500 screens across the Indian market on April 28. It collected Rs 41 crore nett at the domestic box office on the first day to become the second Hindi film to cross Rs 40 crore mark after Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year, which minted Rs 42 crore nett on its opening day.

Having strong word of mouth, the Prabhas starrer went on strength to strength on Saturday and Sunday and collected Rs 40.50 crore and Rs 46.50 crore, respectively -- the highest ever collection made by any Hindi movie. The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 collected Rs 128 crore nett at the Indian box office in the first weekend.

The SS Rajamouli-directed film remained rock-steady on Monday, as it was a holiday. The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 collected Rs 40 crore nett at the Indian box office on the fourth day -- also the highest ever collection on a Monday. The film witnessed 30 percent drop on Tuesday and its collection continued to drop on other weekdays.

The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 has collected Rs 240 crore nett at the Indian box office in its opening week and its 7-day gross total stands at Rs 350 crore. Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#Baahubali2 rewrites HISTORY... Has a GLORIOUS Week 1... Smashes records everywhere... Salman Khan's last outing collected Rs 229 crore nett in the domestic mark in its nine-day extended first week and it was the highest ever collection in opening week for a Bollywood film. Now, Bahubali 2 has shattered this record in just seven days.

Karan Johar and AA Films jointly acquired theatrical rights of the Hindi version of Baahubali 2 and they reportedly shelled out Rs 71 crore as advance for its rights. The movie recovered their investments in just three days and earned them huge profit share in the opening week.
