For those who say that the hysteria of football in India doesn't reflect on the amount of spectators in the stands during match days, think twice. Get ready for this piece of news, which does come both as a ray of hope for Indian football as well as a dampener for a plethora of fans.

Online tickets for all the ten matches at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata) for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017, scheduled for October, have been sold just less than 24 hours.

The last time something like this happened was during the ticket sales for blockbuster film Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, where tickets were sold out instantly from the BookMyShow online portal.

The FIFA U17 World Cup ticket sales started on Tuesday, May 16, from 7.11 pm IST and a quick check at the FIFA website at around 7 pm IST on Wednesday, revealed this:

With the tickets priced shockingly low -- as low as Rs 48 -- the sale of tickets like hot cakes was bound to happen.

Tickets for three categories were available on the FIFA website:

Category 1: Price - 480 INR

Category 2: Price - 960 INR

Category 3: Price - 1,920 INR
