IST The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) has announced the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) exam results on May 31 at 11 a.m. The results were supposed to be out on the official website of SEBA (www.sebaonline.org) and resultsassam.nic.in but the websites had stopped working temporarily, apparently due to high traffic. However, the website is active again and students can check their HSLC and AHM results online. The results will be available only on sebaonline.org and not on the other website mentioned earlier.
UPDATE: 12.00 p.m. IST Although the authorities had announced that the HSLC results 2016 would be declared on the official website of SEBA on May 31 at 11 a.m., the website has temporarily stopped working, apparently due to a surge in traffic.

The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) will announce the results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exam on May 31, 2016. Students who have appeared for the class 10 HSLC examinations can check their results at their respective schools or online at the official website of SEBA. Assam High Madrassa (AHM) exam results will also be announced on Tuesday.
Assam HSLC exam, also called the Matric exam, was reportedly conducted from Feb. 19 to March. 12. Students have the option of checking their HSLC and AHM results online by visiting the official website of SEBA (www.sebaonline.org) and also www.results.assam.nic.in and filling the required details. The results will be announced on May 31 at 11 a.m.
It was reported earlier that around 5,000-10,000 answer sheets had got destroyed after a major fire broke out in an evaluation centre at Jorhat in Assam on March 3. The incident had triggered much mayhem and a CID enquiry was reportedly ordered into the case.
