Shah Rukh Khan is a proud father and on cloud nine as his son Aryan Khan's directorial debut, The Ba**ds of Bollywood, on Netflix, is being loved not only by viewers but also by critics and celebrities.
The web series has turned out to be a breakthrough moment for Aryan, firmly establishing his voice as a filmmaker. Backed by sharp writing, humour and engaging storytelling, the show opened to an overwhelming response.
Following the series' success, Aryan Khan was honoured with the Best Debutant Director of the Year award for The Ba**ds of Bollywood*. He was felicitated at the Navbharat Times 75th Anniversary celebration. The award was presented to him by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, marking another proud milestone in his promising journey.
He was also recently honoured with the Debutant Director of the Year award at the NDTV Indian of the Year 2025 for the same series.
Several photos and videos of Aryan Khan have gone viral. In the clips, Aryan is seen greeting Ishaan Khatter, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Mrunal Thakur and Fatima Sana Shaikh, among others, after winning the award. He also posed with his trophy for the paparazzi and warmly interacted with them.
Written and directed by Aryan Khan, the series is produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment and features an ensemble cast including Lakshya Lalwani, Bobby Deol, Mona Singh, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari, Sahher Bambba, Gautami Kapoor and Rajat Bedi, among others.
