Ram Charan's "Yevadu" has done fantastic business in its opening week at the Andhra Pradesh box office. The film, which released on 12 January, has reportedly created the first week record in three areas in the state, surpassing Pawan Kalyan's "Attariniki Daredi" collections. It has set a new first week record in Karnataka as well.  

Industry hit "Attarintiki Daredi" was holding the first week record in all key territories including Nizam, Ceeded, Vizag, East, West, Krishna, Guntur and Nellore.

According to the AndhraBoxOffice website, "Yevadu" has set first week record in Nellore, east and west areas in Andhra Pradesh as well as in Karnataka. 

The Ram Charan starrer has been doing exceptionally well in Nellore, where the film minted ₹1.63 crore share in the first week, beating "Attarintiki Daredi" first week collection which amounts to ₹1.51 crore. "Yevadu" has also created first week record openings in east and west areas, where the film earned ₹2.67 crore and ₹2.22 crore share, respectively. However, the film missed the first week record in Ceeded (₹6.26 crore) and Vizag (₹3.43 crore) by a small margin. To check out "Attarintiki Daredi" first week collections, click HERE

In Karnataka, "Yevadu" has earned ₹4.06 crore share in the first week which again is higher than "Attarintiki Daredi" collection that stands at ₹3.60.

"Yevadu" has already taken the second spot in the list of top 10 films with highest first week shares from AP. The film surpassed Mahesh Babu-Venkatesh's "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" ("SVSC") first week collections  and took the second spot. 

Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, "Yevadu" has Ram Charan, Shruti Haasan and Amy Jackson in lead roles. The other cast members include Allu Arjun, Kajal Aggarwal, Brahmanandam, Jayasudha, Rahul Dev and Sai Kumar. 

The film opened to a fantastic start and gave Ram Charan his best ever opening. It is expected to continue its rocking performance on its second Sunday (19 January) and post a fantastic total after completing eight days at the box office.
