Shahrukh Khan, who is completely occupied with the opening ceremony of IPL 6 and his upcoming film "Chennai Express", is one of the busiest actors at present in Bollywood.

The actor is working non-stop for his rom-com "Chennai Express" as it is running 15-20 days behind the schedule. Also, the film's lead actress, Deepika Padukone, can work only for approximately 15 days to finish shooting. Rohit Shetty's directorial film is set for an Eid release.

"From mid-April onwards her dates have been blocked by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Ram Leela. The makers tried getting the dates rescheduled, but it wasn't possible, which is why no one has any time to waste," a source told Hindustan Times.

Due to Deepika's tight schedule, Shahrukh has to work overtime. "He was so busy focusing on the shoot in Wai that he didn't even accompany his family to Phuket for Arjun and Mehr's (Rampals) wedding anniversary bash," said the source.

"He needs to finish as much work on Chennai Express as he can because he needs to make time for the Indian Premier League (IPL), as his company is putting together the opening ceremony."

The team recently wrapped up their work in Wai where they had been shooting for almost a month. A crew member posted a picture of the team on Twitter with a caption "And it's a schedule wrap!!! Chennai Express-we shall miss you till we meet again.."

Meanwhile, both the lead actors of the film - Shahrukh and Deepika - are going to perform along with Katrina Kaif at the IPL 2013 opening ceremony at 7 pm in Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata.
