Telugu film industry is known for mass masala movies, which have been a safe bet for filmmakers and heroes for decades. But trends are fast changing in the industry with the arrival of a new set of talents, who are daring to tread unconventional paths and face challenges.

Varun Tej and Sankalp Reddy are among those new generation actors and directors. They are coming up with film, which belongs to the rare genre.

Antarisham 9000 KMPH is a space-based movie, which is high on VFX works with its count of 1,500 shots. The movie is set for the release on 21 December and the makers released its trailer on Sunday. Allu Aravind, Krish Jagarlamudi and Sukumar were among the important celebs who attended the event.

Krish is presenting Antarisham 9000 KMPH and he praised actor and director. Addressing its trailer launch, he said, "Sankalp's planning, Rajeev's assistance and Varun Tej's belief led us to make this film. I would like to thank Varun for accepting films like Kanche and Antariksham. Many stories don't come out until a hero dares to do them. Varun did it and he deserves a lot of credit."

Speaking at the trailer launch of Antariksham, Sukumar said, "Antariksham is awesome! Such attempts are a miracle. After Ghazi, I thought what sort of film Sankalp would come up with. He took all the way to space and I heard about his discipline. I'm expecting many more different films from him."

Talking about Varun Tej, Sukumar added, "Ram Charan always says Varun Tej has the best script judging skills. After a blockbuster like Fidaa, he worked with a newcomer and now Antariksham. Next, he is doing F2, which is again a different genre. He is improving as an actor too."

Varun Tej is known for experimenting with his films which set him different from all the heroes from the mega family. Talking about him, Allu Aravind said, "In our family, Varun Tej is a diamond. He is not like regular heroes to make money or to become a mass hero. He has a different approach and attitude. I appreciate him."

Allu Aravind added, "Though it's late I wholeheartedly welcome Sankalp to the Telugu film industry and Tollywood needs such youngster. Media plays a crucial role and I requested them to promote this technical brilliance movie which is made with a huge budget."
